The Lutterworth Musical Theatre Company are very proud to be successor to the

 Lutterworth Opera Group.

The committee and group members are passionate that the work and reputation achieved over the past 44 years is maintained and built upon.

It is important to us that musical theatre continues to thrive within our community, giving more people the opportunity not only to perform, but to learn all aspects of theatre involvement.

LMTC would like to meet you if you are interested in performing in one of our productions.

Whether you would like to audition for a principal role or be a part of the ensemble we are always pleased to welcome new members of all ages to our company.

Let us dispel some myths:

•  You do not have to read music or have a voice like Pavarotti.  
• You do not even have to consider yourself a singer.  
• Just come and meet us and join in the fun.

We also recognise that appearing on stage is not for everyone.

If this is you but you still love to sing then you may be interested to learn that in some of our productions we have an ‘off stage’ ensemble that does not appear on stage. Or maybe you'd be interested in being part of a choir for Weddings and Functions?

Or maybe you want to learn more about the production side of a show.  There are always plenty of opportunities for directors, producers, choreographers, stage hands and front of house to name but a few area's.

We can truly cater for everyone.

It is not always easy to approach a new group by just turning up. It can be nerve racking or embarrassing. Please don’t let this fear stop you making an enquiry. Just send us an email and we will contact you and have a chat about how you would like to become involved. We can then arrange an appropriate time to meet so that you do not feel that you are entering a room full of strangers.
